Kiss Cookies
Valentine’s Day is a few days away, here is a yummy recipe to help you celebrate it!
I’ve rounded up a favorite and easy Valentine’s Day recipe you can share with your loved ones.
1 cup butter, softened, ½ cup sugar, I tsp. vanilla, 2 cups flour, I cup walnuts, chopped fine, 1 (5 ½ oz.) package chocolate kisses, Confectioner’s sugar. Heat oven to 375°. Beat butter, sugar & vanilla until light & fluffy. Add flour and nuts; beat on low speed until well blended. Chill dough (a very important step!). Remove foil from kisses (also an important step). Using about 1 tablespoon of dough, shape around kiss, & roll to make a ball. Cover kiss completely. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes, or until the cookies are set but not brown. Cool slightly and then remove to a wire rack. While still warm, roll cookies in confectioner’s sugar. Cool completely. Roll in confectioner’s sugar again before serving. Should yield about 40 cookies
